Deakin's next dog model competition

Do you have a dog who loves the camera and wearing some cute threads? We need you!

The Deakin Merchandise Shop is proud to have collaborated with Tailored by Marshall on a dog wear range. Tailored by Marshall is a small Australian business that creates handmade clothes and accessories using cotton fabrics where possible. The range will also go to supporting the work of RSPCA Victoria, with $2 from the sale of every item to be donated to them.

In May, we will launch the dog range for sale but first we need some cute models for a doggy shoot.

We’re inviting all Deakin students and staff to enter their furry friend in our competition. We will choose 3 winners to participate in a photo shoot on 1 May. Not only could your dog become Deakin-famous, you could also get some great prizes. The  owners of the 3 selected pooches will each receive a $200 VISA pre-paid card, one item from the dog range and a high resolution copy of a photo of their dog from the shoot.

Deakin Merchandise reminds you that the wellbeing of your pet should always come first. If you choose to dress your dog in our clothing range, please make sure that your dog looks happy and comfortable at all times. Check that the clothing does not restrict your animal’s movement in any way.  Finally, don’t put clothing on your dog on a hot day and ensure that your dog only wears the clothing under supervision and for a limited period of time.
