Free delivery on orders over $50
No promo code is required - free shipping is automatically applied at checkout if your order totals $50 or more. Free shipping is not available for orders delivered outside Australia.
If the total of your order is less than $50, you will be charged a flat fee of $6.95.
How will I receive online orders from the Merchandise Shop?
We use Australia Post to deliver online orders.
Orders will usually be dispatched within two business days of purchase.
How can I collect items ordered online from the Merchandise Shop?
When checking out, select to collect the items from one of the Campus Shop locations. Your order will be kept at our shop’s service counter. You will need to present the web order reference number and photograph identification when collecting your order.
Do you deliver outside of Australia?
We use Australia Post airmail to dispatch international orders. For most international deliveries you will need to allow 10 business days for your order to arrive.
The standard shipping fees for international orders are as follows:
- New Zealand: Flat rate of $19.95*
- Rest of the World: Flat rate of $29.95*
*Flat Rate shipping only applies to orders weighing less than 1 kg and smaller that 40 cm x 40 cm x 40 cm. Items larger than 140 cm girth or weighing over 3kg cannot be shipped internationally. When your order is placed, you will be charged the flat shipping rate. However, when packing your order, we reserve the right to contact you if your order is bigger/heavier than the dimensions stated above. We will provide you with the re-calculated shipping quote and you will be given the opportunity to continue with the order or cancel it and get a full refund.
Please note that International shipping costs do not include any taxes or duties which may be applied by customs at the destination country and any duties or taxes incurred are the responsibility of the delivery recipient. For more information about your country's custom policies, please contact your local customs office.
Is my credit card information secure?
Credit Card transactions are processed in Australian Dollars using
- Payment pages which comply with the Industry standard and use TSL 1.0 (SSL 3.0)
- A 128-bit SSL encryption
- Secure SSL tunnel to connect to the payment gateway
Return and refund policy
Deakin University wants its customers to be completely happy with purchases made from the Merchandise shop.
We will happily arrange for replacement or refund for damaged goods where the products are returned in a similar condition as they were when first delivered (apart from any defect) along with a copy of the receipt or other proof of purchase. Appropriate packaging should be used to ensure that no further in-transit damage occurs.
Change of mind
Should you change your mind about a purchase, as a result of selecting the wrong colour, size or product, you are eligible for a refund or exchange within 14 days providing the products are returned in a similar condition as they were when first delivered along with a copy of the receipt or other proof of purchase. Appropriate packaging should be used to ensure that no further in-transit damage occurs.
If a product is returned for any reason other than it being faulty or not as described, the customer is liable for postage.
